Pressure Relief, Real Comfort

Memory Foam Mattresses for Pressure Free Sleep

Memory foam mattresses mould to your body shape, easing pressure on your joints and reducing tossing and turning through the night. Our range includes different foam densities to suit lighter and heavier sleepers, available in single, small double, double, king and super king sizes.

We select foams that are breathable and durable, so your mattress stays supportive and fresh rather than sagging over time. Memory foam is a popular choice for side sleepers and anyone looking for pressure relief around the shoulders and hips.

Every mattress is tested before it reaches you, so you can trust the comfort from the first night. Pair with a mattress topper if you want an extra layer of softness.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before you order.

  • Memory foam mattresses arrive rolled and vacuum-sealed. Once unboxed and unrolled, most reach around 90% of their full shape within a few hours, but we recommend leaving 24–48 hours before sleeping on it for the foam to fully expand and any minor odour from manufacturing to dissipate.

  • Traditional memory foam can retain heat, but our mattresses feature open-cell foam construction and breathable cover fabrics designed to improve airflow and temperature regulation. If you're a particularly warm sleeper, consider pairing with a cooling mattress topper or breathable bedding.

  • Memory foam is widely recommended for back pain sufferers as it contours to the body's shape and distributes pressure evenly, reducing stress on the spine and joints. For more targeted back support, also take a look at our orthopaedic mattress range which is specifically engineered for spinal alignment.

  • Yes — memory foam mattresses work well on slatted bed bases provided the slats are no more than 7cm apart. Wider gaps can cause the foam to sag between slats over time. All Amare Living bed frames have slat spacing within this recommended range.

  • Low-heat electric blankets placed on top of the mattress are generally safe to use. We advise against placing the blanket between the mattress and the base. Always follow the manufacturer's guidance for your specific electric blanket and turn it off before sleeping.
