Charcoal reads differently depending on light. In low evening lighting it can look near black, while in daylight it softens to more of a graphite tone, which is part of why it works so well as a bedroom's single dramatic element rather than something you build a whole dark scheme around. Pair with pale walls to let the frame do the work, or lean in fully with navy or forest green for a more enveloping feel.
Available in plush velvet, textured weave and smooth finishes across our signature and wingback styles. Dark upholstery does show dust more readily than pale tones, so a fabric brush is worth keeping to hand.
