Bunk Beds for Shared Bedrooms

Bunk beds are a great way to make the most of a shared bedroom, and our range is built with safety rails, sturdy ladders and reinforced frames as standard. Each design is made to handle daily use for years to come, ideal for siblings sharing a room or for maximising space in a guest room.

We test every bunk bed for stability before it reaches you, so you can feel confident your kids are sleeping safely night after night. Pair with two of our children's mattresses for a complete, supportive set up.

Whether you need a simple twin bunk or a design with built in storage, our bunk bed range balances safety, durability and smart use of space.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before you order.

  • The top bunk on our bunk beds is recommended for children aged 6 and over. The maximum user weight for the top bunk is typically 80kg and the lower bunk supports up to 120kg. Exact weight limits are listed on each individual product page. Adult use of the top bunk is not recommended.

  • Most of our bunk bed models can be separated into two standalone single beds, making them a versatile long-term investment. This is confirmed per-model in the product description — look for the 'convertible' or 'separable' note. If you're unsure about a specific model, please contact us before ordering.

  • Guard rails on our bunk beds comply with BS EN 747, which requires the rail to extend at least 16cm above the top of the mattress surface. Exact guard rail height varies by model and is specified in the product dimensions. We recommend using a mattress no thicker than 15cm on the top bunk.

  • All our bunk beds take a standard UK 3ft single mattress (90 x 190cm) on both the top and bottom bunks. We recommend a mattress no thicker than 15cm for the top bunk to maintain the correct guard rail clearance. Our children's mattress range includes options specifically designed for bunk beds.

  • Yes — all ladders comply with BS EN 747 safety standards. Ladders are fixed at a safe climbing angle and feature textured or ridged rungs for grip. Some models offer a choice of ladder position (left or right side) to suit your room layout — this is noted on the product listing.
