Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before you order.

  • A 6ft headboard measures 180cm wide and is sized to fit a UK 6ft super king bed frame. If you have a 5ft king bed (150cm wide), you need a 5ft headboard — a 6ft headboard would be too wide.

  • The fitting process is identical to smaller sizes — adjustable struts and receiver brackets are used for all headboard sizes. The main practical difference is that a 6ft headboard is wider and heavier, so we recommend having two people for fitting. The struts and all required fixings are included.

  • Yes — all headboard styles in our range are offered in 6ft super king sizing, including winged, floor standing, panelled, low, and sleigh options. All fabric and colour combinations are available.

  • Yes — a 6ft headboard pairs well with a super king ottoman bed. For ottoman beds, a floor standing headboard is particularly convenient as it doesn't attach to the frame and remains in place when the ottoman base is lifted for storage access.

  • Yes — a well-chosen 6ft headboard is proportionally one of the most striking in the range. The width gives ample surface area for statement designs like deep button tufting or tall wingback panels, and they look particularly impressive in larger master bedrooms.
