Refresh Your Existing Mattress

Mattress Toppers for Extra Comfort

A mattress topper is a simple way to refresh an existing mattress, adding softness or support without the cost of replacing it entirely. Our range includes memory foam and pillow top style toppers, available in single, double, king and super king sizes.

We use quality fillings that keep their shape wash after wash, giving your bed a comfortable new layer that lasts. A topper is also a practical way to adjust the firmness of an existing mattress if it feels too hard or too soft.

If your current mattress still has life left but needs a comfort boost, a topper is often the most cost effective fix.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before you order.

  • Topper thickness typically ranges from 2cm to 7cm. A 2–3cm topper adds a light layer of softness without significantly altering the feel of your mattress. A 5–7cm topper will noticeably change the sleeping surface and is suitable if you want to revive an ageing mattress or substantially alter its feel.

  • Most toppers are designed to add softness and pressure relief. If you're looking to add firmness to a mattress that has become too soft, a topper is unlikely to help — the mattress itself would need replacing. If your mattress is too firm, a memory foam or natural fibre topper is an effective and cost-efficient solution.

  • This varies by topper material. Many synthetic fibre toppers have removable, machine-washable covers. Memory foam and latex toppers cannot be machine washed — the cover can typically be removed and washed, but the foam core must be spot cleaned only. Washing instructions are listed on each product page.

  • Most of our mattress toppers include elasticated corner straps or a fitted skirt that keeps them securely in position. We recommend checking that the topper is anchored properly before making the bed each time, particularly after washing the bedding.

  • Yes — a mattress topper acts as a buffer between you and the mattress, absorbing some of the daily compression and wear. Paired with a mattress protector, a topper can noticeably extend the usable life of your mattress, particularly useful for guest rooms or second homes.
